US$1.400 is enough to cover assistance and education for a child who has no family support. These are generally orphans, semi-orphans and poor children. The price of the sponsorship includes the initial expense of taking the child to Kathmandu, enrolment in the school, accommodation during the school period and in the holidays, the school material, healthcare and maintenance.

It is important that the sponsor should make a commitment for at least six years, which is the time of the elementary phase of the education.

The sponsors receive regular reports on the sponsored child both from the school and from the Foundation. To make the cooperation more human, the foundation encourages contact either by letter or by a personal meeting with the child if the sponsor comes to Kathmandu.
